With the month of April looming, the time for Gin is nigh & we have recently launched a fabulous new gin menu here at The Sun Inn. Gin is the reigning champion of summer for a good reason; it’s light, botanical & blends easily with all sorts! We prefer to pair all of our spirits with Fever-Tree Premium Mixers, all of which have been crafted to enhance the taste of the finest spirits.
We certainly offer a few unique gins, our Warner Edwards Honeybee Gin being a classic example. A floral & zesty gin infused with honey for a luscious sweet finish this gin paired with Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic is the ultimate refresher. We undoubtedly have a few other names on the list that may get your cogs turning – Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin, Sibling Gin, Poetic License Fireside Gin, Bathtub Gin – & many more!

Local ales, cosy sofas & exceptional food make for the perfect Sunday lunch – or so we believe! Sunday Lunch is such a huge part of British Culture, dating back to the 1700s – it’s undoubtedly the perfect excuse to get the family together or to meet with friends & chat over a long, leisurely meal. At the Sun Inn, we know how to honour this long-standing tradition with lashings of home-made gravy, monstrous Yorkshire puddings & servings of delicious cauliflower cheese. Our beef & pork are sourced locally from the Hook Norton Butchers itself and are cooked to perfection by our chef patron, Matthew.
Those smaller details never go a miss – we’ll keep you topped up with our creamy homemade horseradish, apple sauce, crackling & crispy roast potatoes. Every Sunday, we offer 2 courses for £21 & (if you’re feeling brave enough) 3 courses for £26, an even better excuse to indulge in one of our sticky date puddings or a chocolate marathon for those with bigger appetites!
