Our comfy pub accommodation is perfectly situated for touring the beautiful Cotswolds with Hook Norton close to the picturesque towns of Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Banbury. We have 7 bedrooms available to let, all with fantastic views of either St Peters church or of the village of Hook Norton, and of course, all in the perfect spot to enjoy our delicious food and drink offering.
Your room rate includes a complimentary continental breakfast in your room each morning, with a full English breakfast served on Saturday and Sundays in our restaurant.
The Sun is a vibrant local pub in the heart of the village, and as such there may be noise from the bar heard in your room until 1am.

A place so peaceful, Hook Norton is full of much tranquillity & we cannot recommend a better room to kick back & enjoy the view of our beautifully restored St Peters church. Experience the epitome of the Hook Norton Countryside in our dinky Chinook suite – with views of St Peters Church, this airy double offers a modern take on a traditional country inn. Equipped with an en-suite bathroom & coffee making facilities, this room is the perfect haven in which to relax.

Our Golding Room encapsulates well the heart of the village simply through its picturesque views. With views of St Peter’s church opposite and bright, refreshing walls – Golding offers a tranquil experience for all. Completed with an en-suite bathroom & coffee making facilities.
For those seeking a cosy room in which to enjoy some picturesque views of St Peter’s church, Celia is just the ticket. This quaint suite is light, fresh & undoubtedly the perfect escape for exploring the Cotswolds. Equipped with a double bed & en-suite bathroom, Celia will make you feel right at home.
Indulge in the delicate whites our beautiful challenger suite has to offer – this elegantly styled room is perfect for families, containing one double & two single beds. This suite is spacious, airy & of course includes a modern en-suite bathroom complete with a bath & rain-head shower.
In our Endeavour double you will experience something slightly different, with a modern en-suite and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.
Booking
We can take requests for a particular room and will always try our best to accommodate your request however, please note that we cannot guarantee specific rooms to guests. All rooms are fitted with en-suite showers and double beds as such, we feel confident that all our rooms will offer a similar experience.
Payment
All room reservations will need to be settled on arrival.

Check in/Check out Times
Check in is between the hours of 4pm-10pm. If you are planning on arriving later, please contact us in advance to let us know. We kindly ask that you vacate your room before 11am on the day of check out.
Dogs
Well-Behaved dogs are allowed to sleep in our rooms (but not on our beds). Owners are required to bring their own dog bedding. There is an additional charge of £10 per dog per night, so please let us know when you are making the booking. Parts of our pub are dog friendly so when making a bookings for dinner please ensure you let us know if you require a dog friendly table.
Cancellation Policy
Rooms cancelled less than 48 hours prior to midday on the arrival date will not be entitled to a refund. Please note that by making a booking, you are agreeing to these terms. Rooms cancelled prior to this cancellation period are entitled to a full refund.
Accessibility
Please note that all of our bedrooms are upstairs. Please let us know if we can help with any of your luggage from the carpark.
Supper
Dinner times can get extremely busy, so please be sure to book a table if you would like to join us for an evening meal on the night of your stay.
Breakfast
During the week, we offer a continental breakfast in the room.
Damage
We reserve the right to charge any guests for damage to the rooms or property.
For larger bookings, special events, packages and at certain times, our booking terms and conditions may differ. You will be notified of this at the reservation stage if this is the case.
